How is this different from a spreadsheet?
A spreadsheet doesn't tell you whether your resume fits a role, link your interview notes to a specific application, or keep everything in one coherent place. Rolepath does all three. If a spreadsheet is working for you, it's doing its job. If you're losing track of where you applied or walking into interviews without context, that's the gap Rolepath closes.
Do I have to upload a new resume for every job?
No. You save one resume to your account and Rolepath uses it for every match score. If you update your resume, you update it once — everything else stays in sync.
How does the resume match score work?
You paste in the job description and Rolepath compares it to your saved resume text, identifying which key phrases and skills appear in both and which are absent. The score reflects how much of the job description vocabulary your resume covers. It's a starting point for tailoring, not a hiring guarantee.
Is my resume data kept private?
Yes. Your resume and application data belong to your account only. It is not shared, sold, or used to train any model.
What if I'm only applying to a few roles?
